Fluffy Pom Pom Hedgehogs !

Of course we all LOVE hedgehogs - but also adore making the less prickly Fluffy Pom Pom Hedgehogs for our Enchanted Woodland Party.. Kids love the warm fluffy feel of these adorable creatures.

What You'll Need

  • A4 Coloured Craft Paper

  • Scissors

  • Colourful wool

  • All Purpose Glue Stick

  • Black Marker

  • Craft Eyes

  • Pom Pom maker (or DIY (see video)

  • Hedgehog Template

Hedgehog Template

Step 1: Open the pompom maker and place them on top of each other

Step 2: Completely wrap both sides with wool.

Step 3: Close the template and lock it in place.

Step 4: Now cut open the whole pompom.

Step 5:Wrap the tufts of wool with a piece of wool in the middle and knot them twice.

Step 6: Open and remove the stencil.

Step 7: Use the scissors to cut off the excess wool.

Step 8: Print out the PDF template and cut it out. Fold the paper along the dotted line and glue the snout together. The templates are intended for pom poms with a diameter of 7.5 cm and 9.5 cm. If you want to make the pompoms in other sizes, you can enlarge or reduce the template.

Step 9: Now glue the pompom to the paper. Glue on the eyes and muzzle and paint on the hedgehog's feet.

Tip

.If you don't have goofy eyes or felt pompoms to hand, you can paint the hedgehog nose and eyes directly on the paper instead.

You can also use our adorable hedgehog stickers to decorate party cups, napkins and plates....
